Viewing versus editing

Opening a PDF to read is different from changing its text, adding a signature or saving annotations. Nirvana has not confirmed a built-in PDF editing workflow in the current Android release.

Use a compatible editor

If you need to sign or annotate, open the PDF with a trusted Android editor through the device’s share or open-with menu. Check the app’s permissions before giving it a private document.
