Choose what saves

Open Settings → Passwords or Logins and review offers to save and autofill. Android’s own autofill provider can also affect which prompt appears.

Protect saved credentials

Use a screen lock, unique passwords and device authentication where offered. Check the website address before filling a saved login.

Moving devices

If supported, Sync can transfer selected logins through the account service shown in the app. Confirm they appear on the new device before clearing the old one.
