What remote configuration means

A browser can receive configuration that adjusts a feature or fixes a problem without a full app update. The exact mechanism and whether it is active depend on the distributed Nirvana build.

Turning a feature off stops future use. It does not delete data already processed.

What to review

Check Settings → Data collection and any feature-specific controls. A remote configuration switch is not permission to send browsing history; the actual data flows still need release-specific verification.

We have not independently confirmed the public APK’s remote-improvement endpoint or current experiment list. This page explains the inherited help link without claiming a Nirvana-run service.
